In His faith, alone.

Your tangled web tries to encompass me
with a pretty lie, your face familiar with false hope.
But what does it profit me to love what is not auspicious?
You cloak the lie in soothing words.

My first Love will never leave me,
your imperfections vibrant as I witness your ultimate folly.
I was adorned for another, for the One who loves me
even more than His own life; in His faith, alone.

You have become estranged from Christ, you who attempt to be justified by law; you have fallen from grace. For we through the Spirit eagerly wait for the hope of righteousness by faith. For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision avails anything, but faith working through love. [Galatians 5:4-6]
